Papers Please

I’m a little late in posting this, but I’ve been busy lately. Here is a video of a man who knows his rights and isn’t afraid to stand behind them.

The guy in the car reminded me of you.

    • Well, that certainly is something that I would do under similar circumstances.

I remember when me and Michael were pulled over years ago (around 2000 or 2001) I had a little pot in my pocket (inside of a wooden dugout). The cop did a pat down of me “for his safety” and paused when he felt the dugout in my pocket. He asked what it was and I told him that it was none of his concern. He then told me that he was going to reach into my pocket and pull it out. I told him that he absolutely was not going to reach into my pocket, because by virtue of the fact that he asked me what it is, that means that he has no probable cause (i.e. he doesn’t know what it is).

He kept trying to get me to let him reach into my pocket, and he kept issuing threats that he would arrest me and such. I told him that I don’t give two shits what he says, that I know my rights and that I know that he’s bluffing, and that he is out of line. He finally let us both on our way.
