The Truth About Iran

September 4, 2012

Mike Rivero lays it all out for all to see. He’s actually been talking about this for about 4-5 years now, at least since Bush was in office. I don’t usually agree with Mike economically, but he is dead-on when it comes to foreign policy (especially Israel and the ME).

Public Enemy Number One Million Something

July 27, 2012

I recently made the following comment regarding the 2nd amendment at Robert Wenzel’s website, ‘EconomicPolicyJournal.com’:

The whole point of the “assault weapons” hype is that the PTB understand that in an actual uprising, revolution, rebellion, or what have you; that the people are entirely defenseless without semi-automatic rifles. All other forms of firearms are great when it comes to defending yourself against a foe or maybe even multiple foes, but when it comes to actual warfare they are entirely useless. Granted, civilians don’t have access to bombs, but as operations in A-stan have shown, one doesn’t need a whole lot to put together a highly effective explosive device. Obviously, in the case of all out civil war, exploding a nuclear device is counterproductive to the aims of the state (what good is having monopoly control over a region if that region is entirely unusable?).

The second amendment had one purpose and one purpose only: for the people to be able to defend themselves from the state if the situation was ever to arise. Statists put all of their faith into the state (like a religion), so they will inevitably see the state as the only entity to not only be able to protect you, me and everybody else; but also to protect itself.

On a side note, I think that I used quite a few words in those two paragraphs that will absolutely get me flagged for suspicious activity. So, in light of that, I just want to tell the snoopy team that I am a peaceful man that will never engage in the initiation of violence.

Boy, how right I was. Shortly after that comment got posted, my email account was unaccessible for hours. Then, when I was finally able to access my email, the first email that I read was from Facebook. It read as follows:

Your Facebook account was recently logged into from a computer, mobile device or other location you’ve never used before. For your protection, we’ve temporarily locked your account until you can review this activity and make sure no one is using your account without your permission.

Did you log into Facebook from a new device or an unusual location?

– If this was not you, please log into Facebook from your computer and follow the instructions provided to help you control your account information.

– If this was you, there’s no need to worry. Simply log into Facebook again to get back into your account.

I also happened to notice that in a single day somebody looked at every post on this blog (not that there are a whole lot of posts). Coincidence? I think not. Maybe I’m over-thinking this and being paranoid, but if somebody is looking into my accounts, I certainly know that they won’t find anything of interest to them. They’re wasting their resources on me, which I guess can be flattering in a weird, attention-whore sort of way.

Natural Born Killer

July 21, 2012

My friend Robert Wenzel over at ‘Economic Policy Journal’ has a post up comparing the kill-count of the Aurora shooter, James Holmes, versus the kill count of President Barack Obama. Just in terms of innocent civilians killed, Obama has Holmes beat by quite a large margin. However, one mustn’t forget that Obama has also murdered quite a large number of children, too.
